Downloaded tune, running 12 min tune, no fuel gauge????

I pulled the speedo to put in my Eastern Beaver kit on my '09 and neither the speedo or the fuel gauge worked, instant panic! I went out and rode it and all came back on center. I don't know what does it, but all is well now.:)

They always do this, at least mine does, on reflashing.

Smoother motor is a result of secondary being fixed and his ignition map.

Same here...just a fact of Rocket life. Usually takes 2 miles from the gas station to my house before it reads full. Longer before it estimates the mileage before empty. That number is always slightly in flux as I ride.

Yep!
My mileage left numbers decline appropriately until it reaches 10 or 20 miles left.
Then it suddenly goes directly to 0 miles without passing GO or anything???
It's actually sort of funny because I still have more than 20 miles left after the 0 appears in either case.
Me thinks it adds a little character to the KONG! :p

You mean like this?! My remaining miles jump from 12 to 0 when I'm near empty. Pulled into a gas station like this last week with maybe 6 miles remaining, was getting a little nervous.

When you unplug speedo. assy on the R3t you lose power to memory that is why clock and fuel left go back to O.

AW, you had plenty gas left.
I bet it took only 5.2 gal to fill like mine does at 0.

I put 6.3 gallons in mine once, in the middle of the Mojave Desert. I was very happy that the petrol station wasn't another mile down the road.

Nifty trick in a 6.2 gal tank!?!?!?

Whoa...I've never even got that close. When I get down to 40 or the fuel warning light comes on I'm heading for a gas station. Since I put the new Tripp tune on, the beast has gotten a little thirsty.

The warning light comes on around 40-50 miles left, BUT you have MUCH more fuel left, like 70 miles more!
