Do i need therapy or,,,is this normal???

I do the same thing Lupe. Can't seem to walk away from a good deal. I usually will only keep a bike like this for a riding season and sell it for a profit when done. I just picked up a 2000 Zr750 with 5600 miles for $500.00 The guy lost the keys and he claimed it was going to cost him $250.00 to re key the bike. I pulled out the ignition and brought it up to my local lock smith. $19.00 for a key. The bike runs awesome. Changed the oil and filter, cleaned the air filter, went right through the bike, cables lubed and adjusted, chain all that crap. Needs two tires but other than that it is mint. My buddy from Texas is coming up this week and now he will have a bike to ride while he is here.

This past week I was at our cottage and a local older full timer that I know had is garage door open as I was taking my morning walk. And I spied the taillights on a bike, He came out to say good morning, I said mornin' what's in the garage? He says its a 2003 Valkyrie with 11K on it. I immediately asked if I could look at it and it is beautiful. He can no longer rider due to arthritis in his back and says its for sale. The light bulb went off again and we got to a price of $4200.00, now I have the Valkyrie itch again. If it was an Interstate I would have bought it already.

Great minds think alike, more than likely i will fix it up since it has a few scratches from been in storage, then i will trade it for a 600 for my daughter,

Lupe,
The bikes ARE the therapy. Bikes are a lot more fun, and don't require insurance forms or scheduling.
In addition, you don't need a prescription, just a nod from your better half.
In my case my better half is crazier than i am, it was her idea to keep the zx11, am i lucky or what???:D

The FJR IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE SPORTS TOURER BUT OUT OF MY LEAGUE, MY LEGS ARE WAY TOO SHORT:(

Okay so what you are saying is Trump should line the border with FJRs

My better half also gives me an option---- keep the bike or keep your balls my choice:eek:
