Do I need a new battery?

With a Lithium I highly recommend carrying a portable jump box!

I have one that travels with me in winter Lead-Acid or LiFePO4.

I always keep mine connected whenever it's parked in my garage via the pigtail that came with my Battery Tender Junior and no problems at all. Stick with the high capacity OEM replacement battery and most should not have any problem starting the Beast in any weather and your battery should last a good 5 years with normal use and equipment.

Never had an issue with the Rockets battery, I replace mine every four years why wait for trouble, always use the wallyworld battery they have never failed me.

Yep. Those freezing cold 55 degree days are tough on a battery.

Almost an annual maintenance item for some of us.

THATS not the norm as long as you maintain the battery with a trickle charger the battery in my 09 lasted 7 years and only failed after not being charged at Carpenters while in storage

AGM is always a good bet, a name brand one. Good price, no venting, vibration resistance and typically a little more ass than a lead acid.
