Send me those (which sound like classic bars) and I'll send you my original 05 bars.

I have been running Valkyrie bars for some time which eliminated some terrible elbow problems caused by the stock 05 bars.I would say good riddance to em ,mate, before they put ya elbows in a mess!

Yes ,they sound like the classic bars. I just removed the ones the previous owner put on and went back to the originals.
Wrists are much better now 8)

Classic bars sweep back quite a lot, compared to the standard R3. I don't like the classic bar, it puts the wrist at an uncomfortable angle.

Which wrist, 'bones. Maybe it's something else you're spending too much time doing.

I've been unfortunately redeveloping pain in my inner wrists; last year it was the right wrist. Received a cortisone shot in it, and during the winter, the pain went away. Of course I was not riding that much either; now I'm wondering if it's the Classic handlebars on my '08 Classic.

One of the major points for me choosing the Classic over the Standard Rocket; was that the handlebars were more swept back. That helps with relieving the agony from all of the hardware in my lower back. But now, I have this new issue involving my wrists.

I also have two other bikes (my DL650) and my (VTX1300R). I didn't develop this wrist pain while I rode these two bikes, it only started after I purchased the Rocket.

So...I an looking/contemplating different bars as well. I like the Thunderbike T-bars:

...but I am wondering if they will induce a more pronounced "leaning forward" condition again regarding my upper torso.

Can anyone compare the difference between the Classic bars and the Thunderbike T-Bars regarding riding position?
