Possibly you could stay in a lower gear. But that would be the wrong answer for this test.

Our local "Road Code" insists that in the wet that you use the front brake only !
Obviously the deckhead that wrote that has never ridden a M/C.

In days of old when automobiles only had rear wheel brakes that would be definitely true because use of front brakes only would at least keep you sliding straight. On a motor, front only on a wet surface will put you on your butt - real quick!
