Thats truly sad. Not only were they installed incorrectly, but they were used. For a long time.

That's why we downshift. It slows us down and keeps us in the powerband for quicker acceleration.

Hmmm. Well after a very in depth study of the photograph, I am failing to see what the problem is. As I understand it, you need a brake disc, a caliper, and a set of 2 brake pads. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all seems to present and correct??

How does that even happen? And people wonder why they have issues with their bikes! Besides the screwup... no maintenance apparent here.
