Well! whent out yesterday afternoon for a quick ride, As I was pushing my ZZR(ZX) 1400 back into the garage I lost control & it fell away from me, the tank took all the force as it slid down the corner of the brick pillar of the garage doorway. I was so pissed off I don't know what deletives came out of my mouth but neighbours have since been asking "what happened last night". Have you had one of those mornings when you wake up & realise what a complete twat you were the night before, (of course you have) well that was me this morning, not even a hangover, I can do it sober. I deserve a smack around the head anybody up for it?

I feel your pain CJ ! I got an adrenalin rush (not a good one) just reading your post. It sucks when things like that happen. Could have been worse, a friend of a friend had washed his Harley and was pushing it back into the garage when he lost control and it fell. Unfortunately, whilst trying to save it he got his hand between the handle bar and the cement. F'd his hand up royal. Ended up with pins drilled into the ends of his fingers connected to piano wires that ran through little guides on the back of his hand to try and fix it. Never heard how he ended up .

I hardly think a string of expletives after dropping your bike would justify being so hard on yourself. It's like accidentally hurting an old friend, frustration is understandable. Unless you took your frustration out on someone else it sounds like you were just venting. An apology to any children, parents, or devout religious folks who may have overheard ought to set it right.

Understand that potty mouth place Jack. Been there a few times myself. It is a constant work within ourselves not to do that again. I've been teaching myself how to swear without using swear words. My favorite non-swear swear word I learned right here on this forum. I love "buggers". Covers a lot of emotion and anger without offending anyone. Thank You R3 Owners Forum.

As I started reading I felt your pain but have to confess was a little relieved when I saw it wasn't your Rocket or the Thruxton. No smack around the head from me. Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

Well that's saved me the air fair to Oz. Maybe I can get the repair done instead. I know it's the Jap. section of my little collection but it is an awesomely powerful machine.

That is the exact amount I've been quoted for the repair. I've seen a used tank on eBay for £150. Not sure if the colour is same as mine, there is a coloured speckle in the black, mine is gold but others vary.
I dropped my old VZR1800 once, had it up on the bike lift and when I lowered it down
I thought the side stand was already out, but it wasn't and the bike hit the patio very
hard. Ended up with £200 repair on the tank!.

I'll give you a slap, unless of course your a lot bigger than me!. :D

That sucks, man. That's why I don't trust myself to push my Rocket. After I wash it just outside the garage, I will hop on and fire it up just to move it 10 ft. Knowing me, I'll drop the girl for sure. Hope you get it up and running soon.
