Disappointed with Jardine's....

Must say I recall several complaints on here about the fit of Jardines and how difficult it can be to get them on properly; as well as some comments both praising and criticising how loud they are. Pity really because I reckon they're a great looking system and a good way to swap out the header for something that (at least looks like it) flows better. More fool Jardine; certainly a big turn off for some because they seem like they'd be perfect for the money. I'd still be tempted - but cautious.

Jardine probably didn't give it much thought since they were going on a motor that looks like it came out of a John Deere tractor, with a radiator that would look more at home on an old Buick.

I don't have a Roadster but an 07 Classic with the JARS and I just love them! Looks, sound and performance. Heat shields held on with hose clamps just don't bother me because the bolts sit behind the headers. The chrome on mine is excellent and they fit perfectly.
Different strokes.
Of course my Carpenter kit helps a bit with the performance side.

Denny..i love the stock pipes it gives the bike that intimidating look kinda like Mad Max. It makes them Harley guys tremble..

Maybe you should have taken your own advice and perhaps checked one out before purchasing ... don't you think ?

I would have loved to have seen them but they have to be custom ordered where I live. And I do apologise for giving an opinion on an exhaust system that for $1300 should have been better designed. I assume you also have this exhaust and love the look of the clamps. Next time I won't give a heads up to anyone looking to spend this kind of money sight unseen.

Apparantly from the comments here, not everone likes the quality of the pipes. I assume you own them and like them and I'm happy for you. I really do wish that I could say the same. As far as getting the ones I want, I'd like to see more options for performance pipes for the Roadster but I couldn't find any here in the states other than the ones from Triumph. Enlighten me please.
