I find it hard to believe that I don't see any complaints about how badly the Jardine Roadster exhaust looks and fits. The armadillo style chrome plates are a real pain to install and once on, look like crap when standing close to the bike. Nothing like a $1300 exhaust that has cheesy pipe clamps sticking out all over the place. I know performace exhausts are hard to come by for the Roadster but I'd suggest that if you care about how your bike looks, you examine a Jardine exhaust up close and personal before buying one. They do look good from about 10 ft away but I'll get ride of mine as soon as something else is available.

I will take them from you when you get the ones you want, there are a bunch of guys that have them and everybody likes them:)

I was also disappointed in the quality, but seeing another Rocket around here is a rarity, let alone one with Jardines. Not a lot of other options, though.

I just put Rumblers on my standard, and was surprised by the pipe clamps too. I am thinking of removing those heat shields that are held on with the hose clamps, as I dont really need them as I painted the pipes black.

The hose clamps work well that is why they use them.Best sell the Rocket before it upsets you as well ;)
but all though they work they do look butt ugly, apart from the being only 2 not 3 mufflers the Finnish was a Big turnoff for me when I first seen them, better clamping could have been thought off:)

Harleys been using hoseclamps to hold their heatsheilds on for as long as they have run them..... Like Pedro says because they do the job.
