Didn't want to say anything

I don't know anything about Canada, and little more about most states. That said, in some states, insurers offer "Stated Value" policies -- effectively a version of this is what "car replacement" policies are.

The companies that offer this look at the risk factors, multiply that times the stated value, and out pops the six-month premium.

This is most often used by collectors where the covered vehicle has long disappeared from the standard depreciation chart, or, as with some of the exotics, depreciation is not applicable.

I would wager you can get the insurance, and it's a matter of the assessment of value.
My experience unfortunately is earned by crashing a Road King 2001. The company I had and still have, is Safeco. The main office is in Illinois. I had pictures of the bike. I had a little over $3500.00 in extras. This carrier payed full replacement costs minus my deductible. When I closed the claim I was ahead of the costs. Safeco is also cheaper than other carriers that checked. Truly a good company!

thanks for the encouragement , it is my way to keep occupied and interested in living to the fullest for what is left ahead of me, soon enough I will have to reconsider meanwhile full steam ahead.

DO NOT be talkin' that crap, Amigo!
You only got a year or less on me and WE have a lot of riding left to do!!! :inlove

Thanks for the thought, Patrick!
If they are separate and it has a solo seat with back rest where the passenger seat can be tossed (like the OEM setup) - I be ALL OVER IT!!!!
I've no use for a passenger seat. :(
