"Devil Eye" LED DRLs

[R-III-R Turbo]

Inspired by BMW cage angel eyes, I made these to look like angry eyes, with the angry sportscreen acting as the eyebrows to accentuate the look. Pleased with how they turned out

Using the headlights switch off a '96 Triumph Trophy 900 to replace the 'dummy' headlight switch so the headlights can be switched off, the following was done and powered off the 'parking' light socket to achieve fancy LED DRLs;

I know you have some tap into my brain now... 2 days ago I was looking around and figuring out how I was going to add Halos to adaptive lol.

What LEDs did you use?

5mm ‘bulb’ type LEDs, ice white, would you believe it’s difficult to get pure white ones (most have a slight blue hue which cheapens the look), and also good quality ones that last.

Actually started R&D on this in Sep 2012 and finished it in March 2015,, just posted it up here thought guys would be interested to see.

Isn’t there a JW Speaker model that already has a full halo built into them?
Not a 3/4 (‘eyebrowed’) one like mine but a full ring

I’m after adaptive, one more step into 2018 from 2004 lol. Color selectable LED halo preferred so I can ride with Red to look angry if I want or pulsing blue when I want traffic to get out of my way.

I am curious if you notice a change in drivers behaviour with them.
