David PLatt (OUTLAW EXHAUST)?

I liked the look of two exhausts and the shape of his model. It doesn't have any joins or screws sticking out, its slightly shorter and much lighter than the stock but retains the look of the rear end. They are polished stainless rather than chrome. They sound awesome. I think I paid about $800 USD incl. shipping from UK to Canada.

OK so you wanted to keep the HUGE exhaust look of the stock system

What parameters can the PCV change on the Rocket? For example, I heard that the PCV states that you can map each individual cylinder, but someone told me that is only on a V-twin motor?
The pcv is mainly an ignition module but the fuelling curves can also be altered . It is possible to map each cylinder individually , but I don't believe this is generally required !
The tuner who did mine mentioned individual mapping but advised against it due to the relatively low mileage of 9500 . The whole process of dynoing and map writing took a little over 4 hours . The dyno time and pcv programming cost £200 plus another £200 to change the settings in the ecu . All in all relatively costly but a small price to pay for knowing the engine is running at pretty near optimum !

Eh? - A basic PCV is a fuel altering piggyback device. Period.

You can map by cylinder or gear or both.
With the AT addon you specify AFR targets and the fueling is "dynamically" altered to fit your targets. To do each pot individually with AT you need one WBO2 per cylinder - Dynojet do sell a twin version for Harleys. The only way to really do an R3 is have a set of headers with a lambda sensor for each pot and a DYNO-GOD. Ignition changes requires a separate addon module.

Altered my ECU and PCV/AT this morning - took me approx 1/2 hour . Nat, mate - get a copy of TuneECU.

I map the PCV by gear. Have no Dyno guy anywhere near so I am confined to the AT solution..

I stand corrected ! Have the tune ecu , still a work in progress . Will get the hang of it .

Ok so read whole thing and a little confused being a newbie to all this tech stuff.
Had a 2015 Rocket , Loved it bought a 2017 , still only 100 miles on it. Recently because of you Guys changed to Avon cobras front and back...would believe the difference unless I’d tried myself. Now need help on exhaust...

I want a new exhaust shortlist is...

REVO Rocket 111 twin 6” ( see you tube ). These are my No 1 choice - look amazing and sounds outstanding. But...These guys never return emails so not sure they will be able to or want to supply?

Remus Custom slip ons. Seem a big so reputable company. Not sure I like combination of chrome (exhisting) and black slip on but might look better than polished as sometimes a near miss when matching is worse than a complete contrast (black)
There seem two versions? The one that sounds best is racing?

Shorty outlaw ( is this DP?) There seems to be the outlaw shorty and a slightly longer version at 41cm that they say are from ‘the same people’. What is the difference apart from length?

TORS. Like to keep the factory look however...they just don’t seem any different to me , slightly louder but a little ‘tractory’ still.

So I guess my question is around - any experiences or recommendations from my shortlist here ( pros/cons).
Secondly , will a power comander do the job re tune?

Don’t laugh but I’m a Brit living in Florida. I go into Dyno shops here and omg you would think I farted on entry!
...the shops look like old wooden or corrugated metal huts really - Hardcore I guess ... the Guys look like a they are out of a Harley biker gang movie. They look at me and listen to my question about Dynoing a Rocket and react as if I’m from Mars and proceed to say...”Whatdya think of Triumph’...aka why not get a real bike’!
Only kidding but it is intimidating as these Dyno boys here seem to be real one man bands with shanty style shops and frankly rough as hell. Probably know what they are doing buy boy it’s old school Biker territory and parts slung around everywhere. Not sure I want my new Rocket in there for moment!

So guys...what would your suggestions be...( OK ... grow a beard I know!)

The Dp custom shortys are bout 16 inches long and sound waay better than the Triumph tors and give slight power gains as well as cutting a whole shed load of weight . The Dp outlaws are for hooligans who like to rattle windows . Only if you change the pipes and induction will you achieve significant gains , increased even more by a header pipe change also ! As for the tune ? DPstates that the 12 minute tune will suffice for the shortys , and the Triumph tors tune for the Outlaws , however , the bike will still run lean .
Therefore you have 2 choices , spend more money on a pcv and get the bike dyno tuned , or buy the £20 Lonelec cable and download the free tune ECU program to your laptop and appeal to our resident tuning wizard for a tune for your set up ! The tune ECU program is a tuning , fault finding , diagnostic wizard , that will save you money and make bike maintenance a pleasure once mastered !

Ps . The Revos look cool as fook , not sure if they are made specifically for the Rocket but by their prices they should be gold plated ! Fit them and you will certainly need a custom tune !
