cylinder wall treatment

I was told by a dealer that the R3T cylinder walls are treated with a tungsten carbide treatment. Is this true? If so I have read that it's a great treatment built to last. On another not my wife and I went to a Triumph dealership yesterday so she could see the R3T and sit on it to check out how comfortable it was. She gave me the green light Retirement is looking up.
