nice bike and dog

Wow Flhtpi, nice job vary well done nice flow.
I wish you would of made these earlyer I bought Jardines because I wanted better headers but these look even nicer then Jardines headers.

WAY nicer than Jardines. Your orange tribal R3 looks cool Cane corso...as does your cane corso Italian canine in the background of your first pic. I love dogs, esp. mollosus/mastiff/pit bull breeds!

Dependant on material type and pipe size. Yep, that will get you in the ball park. They are great guys to work with. You give them the design and pipe sizes and they work the magic.
Thanks for that, mate got the 1800 number and going to give them a call.

I'm having a custom header made by these guys:

Custom Headers Built To Your Specifications

I had to send them my stock headpipe for mock up. It's going to be a 304 stainless steel equal length header that will pick up my current staintune cat bypass and pipes. I must say I'm missing not being able to ride the R3!!! I'll keep you guys posted with the results to include pictures when I get my custom header.

:eek:Well done it's amazing how great minds think alike:cool:, I have Sam (chargeing me $1250.00 USD ceramic coated and he is working on heat shields as well)of "Preditor" fame making a set very similar to yours and guess what mine will be hooking up to my Staintunes (don't they just sound awesome) as well, are you getting yours ceramic coated? there are aparently a few advantages regarding heat. :D

Yes I really like my Staintune Pipes and Cat bypass pipe. No to the ceramic coating. I really don't see heat being an issue. Nothing like stainless exhaust end to end. I've been out of town and just fitted the header this morning. I'm pleased! I'm going to fab a transition heat shield to smooth up the lines with the current heatshield after the collector.

Haven't been able to find the guy who made this system, but what a fine bit of work.. And the sound to..

since I last posted on this thread I'v been talking to Sam and he said it would be very hard to make a good looking heat shield for this style so I have gone for the Thug/Predator style headers which will be fully heat shielded and will still look awesome and I'm sure sound great,:D I should be hopefully getting a message from Sam Soon to say its on it way

excuse my ignorance Hanso but i havent seen these before and they sound like something i would be interested in as i dont like the ones without the shield they just make the bike look unfinished to me.
do you happen to have a link for their site or any pics?
Im assuming as you have staintunes this header will plumb straight up to the staintune collector and silencers?
Regards Mitch
