Converting Roadster over to Classic Footboard kit - QUESTIONS!!

Kevin

I didn't change the side stand on mine, so if you need one let me know I can send you the extra one. I also attached a couple of pictures that will show you both sides of my bike. Hope this helps

What's the name of the dealer in Michigan ?

Ahh ! Good people there ! That used to be the only Triumph dealership in range of me (about 83 miles). That's where I took my first R3 test ride. Still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up when I think about it. Once out of sight of the place I slowed down to walking speed and canned it. Just about went over on my arse in a huge wheelie. That one had tors and must have had the secondaries removed. I was in love . There is a dealer in Grand Rapids now about 8 miles from where I work. Fox Powersports. So far they have been very good to me as well.

They have been great so far on the phone but somewhat suspicious - as I would be - so u sent them plenty of photographs and part numbers. I have complete confidence that they will make things right. Plus they included a hand written. Are and some triumph rocket swag with the eBay auction. For sure off on the right foot so far!

That looks exactly like what I want/ need to do to my Roadster. Do not know where to start. Wish there was a kit with all you need to do it. I don't think I have the time or the knowledge to scavenge together all the necessary items. Great job on that.

I just changed over my standard Rocket to the Classic Floor board set up. Everything was there as you used the two bolts shifter and brake pedal that was on the standard peg set up. Of course mine was not a Roadster so I was able to use the master cylinder that came with the bike. So that being said I did some looking and it would seem that Triumph went with the Classic Kickstand when they did the Roadster Lucky for you guys as I had to go purchase a Classic one for my Standard.
