Contemtplating trading the rocket for a ktm 1290 adventure

I am super impressed with my 2015 Super Tenere Electronic Suspension model.

I've never ridden one, but have ridden with several people that have them. Very capable and reliable from what I've seen. How noticable is the weight off road? I'm sort of interested in the new Africa Twin.

With the proper off road tyres fitted, I have not found the weight too challenging yet. Anything bar single fire trials is attempt worthy, however I didn't buy it as a trial bike.
