Consensus about to which gears i1 i2 i3 do correspond?

Hi, I can find several old threads about this topic, but with different opinions. I am not sure if i2 is for 2nd gear, 3rd or both.

I am waiting for a cable to arrive for my 2007 Standard with decat and K&N underseat, and i want to derestrict partially the lower gears, but not to a degree that it makes uncomfortable like other twitchy injection bikes I have tested (I am used to 4 cyl carburetted bikes). So maybe I keep stock i1 and secondaries just a bit less closed.
