Come on let's see those beautiful bikes

My first bike was a DT125 twin shock! then had the 175 when I turned 17, they are in my blood!

The pipes on the B-King were Laser Exhausts, looked great but were a little quiet even with the baffle plates removed.

Only mods I did were cosmetic, all the carbon fibre bits were after I binned it, cheaper to go carbon than pay suyzuki prices, the tank pods were £700 each from suzuki or two for £350 from Powerbronze.

Mate of mine dumped the SET valve, used a bypass pipe and got rid of the cat too, didnt make a huge difference but worth doing. The B-King has a much softer tune than the Hayabusa for some reason but is still lightning fast!! Fastest I have ever been on a bike was on the M6 between Carlisle and Penrith, no bridges, no junctions and nowhere for the police to hide

I do miss my B-King but it made me ride like a hooligan!! I know!! It's me not the bike, but.....

Tell him to go for it!! My Dad is 80 and rides a 1960 BSA A10, and for when he is taking my mum out, a Honda NC750X, she is 78! Told you it is in my blood.

My uncle is 92, still runs crab traps and scuba dives. Changed his motor in his boat because he wasn't going to pay the dealer $1500, lol. Cut his arm good and got stitches doing it, told all the rubes at my daughter's wedding that it was a shark bite.

Oh mercy that’s not good. You might need to be straight with him. If he has to have something you might suggest a trike build. A Rocket trike would be a bad azz toy.

+1 on that! My wife would go touring on a trike (she likes that red one that has been on ebay...). Since she got hit with a car on her bicycle she won't get on the Rocket for more than a block. Bummer.
8 years ago took her for a ride on my Kawasaki VN1500. "First date, sort of", and here we are.
