Cold Hand- yup just one!

Oh, I definitely think I'd like the heated grips. Molinoman has them on his Rocket and I rode his bike a 100 miles or so a few weekends ago as we traded bikes since I was still trying to decide between a Standard Rocket and the Thunderbird and he also wanted to ride a R3T since that bike is on his radar for a next bike. I'm just a cheap bastard. lol

I Love the heated grips and I even installed them with only minor periodic frustrations (threading the wires through the handlebars). :)

I was scared I would snap off the wires the whole time, but leave lots of slack inside the bars and all is well. It's no wonder the labor cost is higher than the price of the part huh?

It literally took me an hour to get it fished through those tiny holes on the left side until I finally figured out how to do it. I hooked both wires together to a heavier guage wire and bent it down and it went through immediately. It took me two minutes to do the second one the same way. The rest was a breeze. I did this the week after I removed the air intake and put in the triples and the other two small filters and changed over to the TORS. After that job, the grips seemed easy! :)

Mystery solved! I tested the right glove and it's not heating up at all. Now to deal with Gerbing and get it fixed before Spring!

Give that 'lifetime warranty' a try... hopefully you didn't buy them off of their discount site (Heated Clothing Outlet - Huge Discounts on Heated Clothing!). Take note of the disclaimer

"Products sold on this store are fully operational but may contain a slight flaw, minor blemish, or the product may be slightly used, but still in close to new condition. Some products may be 100% new but are being discontinued by the manufacturer. All products sold through HeatedClothingOutlet.com are sold as is. ALL SALES ARE FINAL."

Be aware of what you're buying...

Nope, bought it from a local motorcycle dealer (not a triumph dealer). They just told me to return the gloves, no questions asked. I had the receipt but they didn't even ask for it! :)

That's good.

I found that the local BMW dealer in Raleigh is a Gerbing dealer so I'm probably going there from now on.

Gerbings is quality stuff, they stand behind their products. Should be no ptoblem.

Sounds to me like the 50 cent Flipmeisters Throttle Lock/Cruise control is in order. A couple rubber washers and 20 minutes and viola, cruise control. All hidden in the twistgrip.

Does it fit with the heated grips?
