3800 Lumen H4 LED Headlight bulb

One thing I really notice on the Scrambler is the poor (single) headlight. Even with a Halogen +120 globe it's barely adequate around town and would be hopeless on a country road. Found these Cyclops bulbs. There's a little bit of stuff to fit in the headlight bowl but I had no problem at all, just plugged it in and put it back together. Cost me under $100. Watch out for cheaper ones - they don't have genuine hi/lo beam capability.

These pics both taken in broad daylight.

Interesting concept.
Would like to accurately test one out and compare the results to the Daymaker 7700144.

In theory they'll fit anything that takes an H4, as the Rocket does. They do other bulb fitments as well. Only question would be room in the back of headlight but they should be fine. The ballast (or whatever it is) doesn't take up any more room than the plug, which with these gets its own subharness so it sits to the side. Don't see a problem.
Doubt they come even close to Daymakers but at the price they're an easy and inexpensive upgrade.

I'm a fan of LED, and a fan of more light, but not a fan of illegal headlight mods. Even in the photos during the day that seems to show the light leaking all over the place and firing light in directions that isn't straight ahead. For another 100 or two you can get an 8630 Evo, that outputs 2900 raw lumens and does it legally and on the road.

Well get one of them then

You reckon they'd be better than the headlights you have in your RIII .. just curious.
