charger or cig lighter

I do not typically have the windshield on the bike around town but i do on a decent long ride. I want to add the ability to have a cig lighter and/or a charger for my phone. I thought to add a windshield bag to the inside where i can run a charger wire. But not sure what to do if i remove the windshield. Thoughs or ideas on running a charger or cig lighter where possible rain will not cause me issues?
Any pictures of where you have ran yours?

This is what I use and, based on the orientation, I *believe* rain would not be an issue without a windscreen (note I always run with my windscreen though...)

Check the Powerlet.com website. They have a selection of outlets, with both cigarette and DIN outlets and plugs. I have one of there outlets that includes a threaded mounting hole for a RAM ball or similar.
