CES Exhaust and Headers

Yes you would be amazed at the time they take to make and look good at the end, very time consuming

A product called "NuFinish" works very well polishing ceramic coatings. Have used it for more than ten years on several headers. Keeps them easier to clean bugs and road tar off too.

Pete,
Thanks for giving him a call and getting the reason for no longer doing the collector heat shield. I still like the idea of a heat shield at the collector. I have not seen an actual pipe with the collector heat shield but I am surprised that it cant be stamped out, but I still will order one of their systems. Thanks, again Ron

I only ever found them hot to touch; no problem with the radiated heat.

You blokes have then NOT ridden in stop and go traffic for any time.
Regardless of where I put my feet (pegs or engine guard pegs) it gets PAINFULLY hot!!!
THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT - ONLY A COMMENT as I LOVE my CES!!!

Looked this up and it seems to be a paint polish???
Unsure how it would work on a hot header.

Canberra doesn't get that sort of traffic and most places out of town I rarely need to stop in traffic. Couple of minutes at a set of lights is all I have to worry about. Guess I take it for granted.

No complaints with my CES - but they DO get hotter than dog *****at heat time in heavy traffic!
