Living Legend
I'm on my third Clearview windscreen (as soon as it gets here). I thought I had gotten one for the T-Bird but I was mistaken. Clearview does tell you on the website how to measure it and you should never have the screen higher than about an inch or so below eye level. It's not the rain you have to worry about but the distortion in the screen if you are trying to look "through" it (in rain or night time riding for instance).
The only problem I find with screens on bikes at night is the headlights from following vehicles is reflected of the screen into my eyes simular to the mirrors even a following motorcycle does the same, I look over the top of my screen at these times so maybe the inch below eye level makes sense .
