Can Hagon Shocks be lengthened?

I reckon by the time you piss around getting em sorted it may be cheaper and easier to buy another set.
Got a spare up your sleeve then.

Thinking I shall go with the 320s on my next set of Hagons.
Zat what you gots HansO???

Honestly can't see how lengthening them back to stock could cost anywhere near what new shockies would cost... I'd look into that option before outlaying cash on a new set .. and having a set of short shocks that no-one will want, because they have the potential to kill them.

I can see your point TC but for the sake of a $2-300 which is only a guess as the price between new and lengthened.
And a few hours of not so spare time and the down time of the bike..
I know which route I would be taking..

And +1 on not dealing with that clown in Victoria. The Goose Man

Thanks fellas. Dont know what I am gonna do at the moment.
If it were me - in OZ - I'd talk to the fellas at GAZI. http://www.gazisuspension.com/

Their shocks can easily be altered for length by simply swapping over the eyelets. If they can control the unruly rear end of old Guzzis - they can control the rear end of an R3.

My guess is that to do the hagons - They'll have to be stripped right down - existing eyelet cut off and new ones made up and welded on - Stainless remember. Certainly need to be repolished after - maybe retempered - Then rebuilt again. Be easier to sell the shortened Hagons on - not everybody hauls around corners.

Steve I have 340's which are 20mm over standard, 320's are stock length and I wanted extra clearance and improved steering rake, also I have 35KG springs as I asked for extra heavy duty cos I tow the heavy camper (about 100 lb on draw bar) and I weigh in at about 240lb the wife weighs about 120lb (guessing of course you know women don't like to tell) and then luggage on a trip and they cope excellently, when riding Solo I have nice stiff sporty suspension, I can back them of for a softer ride but hadn't bothered while I had the Darkside but the Brigdy gives a harsher ride so am thinking of having a play with backing of the damping a bit first

Thanks for the poop, HansO.
I reckon the 340s, being .79 inch taller than the 320s, which are about .1 inch taller than stock 12.5 inches would be too much for my 29" inseam.
What is your opinion on the Progressive 444 HD shocks as compared to Hagon?
I currently have the 30Kg but shall go to the 35Kg in Hagon.
