Cam Cover Gasket

Took cam cover to work and the Machinist who checked it says good to go. Very talented individual so I trust his judgement. I know for a fact that when I did the 10,000 mile check and replaced gasket I torqued it down correctly. Used the manual and have a very expensive ARMSTRONG dial indicator wrench. So it is all pointing to the quality of the gasket itself. Not my first time replacing a valve cover gasket on a Truimph. Had a Bonneville that I bought a chrome cover for and turned out to be untrue. Had it machined and problem disappeared. Two factors left the top of the engine itself or the quality of the gasket. If it is the engine itself o"boy. Somehow but just guessing that it is the gaskets that Triumph is using nowadays:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(.

So my gasket is blown out. Got a replacement for 35 bones from the dealer and ready to replace.

I'd love any tips on the job that would make it easier.

When it comes to the liquid gasket. Do I use standard silicon gasket maker or the high heat copper permanent stuff.
