Cam Cover Gasket (again)

Way to much. It ain't that hard. pretty simple. Made a post on this stuff. Never had a leak after replacing the Gasket the first time. Second time still no leaks and that is after 10,000 miles. It is a simple operation. Nothing special Making a truimph leak proof easy. Making a Harley leak proof artist work

What do you know, there's a very meaningful change to the cover, one that I believe is directly to blame for the gamut of leaks. I had no idea till I went to take the pictures:

I may put the 05 cover on the 14 bike and order a new old version cover for the 05 engine.

Much prefer the step to the flat surface design, especially since I'm pulling a vacuum inside my engine.

I wonder if they can supply older style. In this instance, older looks like it's better.

2006 valve cover gasket T1260079 $31.21

is the SAME part number for the 2014 Roadster and Touring.

Note the two part numbers for the chrome versions - one is the old CHROME CAM COVER T1260229 up to 2008 and replacement T1260387.

The Black T1260383 versions maybe only the later type.
