Bugger.............

I hate it when that happens. However, I'm sure the link from ozrider cheered you up. ;)

Acting Inspector Steve Embelton from the State Traffic Camera Office said the decrease in speeding offences had not added up to a reduction in road crashes.

"Speed enforcement is only part of the strategy when you're looking at trying to reduce the road toll,"Insp Embelton said. "There's other things we look at for road safety such as road engineering and education."

Strange that the resulting speed reductions has resulted in accident reductions, only revenue. Is revenue the "road toll" that they are trying to reduce?

Stats are that over 87% of 'detected speeding offences' fit into the 10kph or under bracket .. very lucrative business for sure . They will 'never' get rid of the ***cin things while ever they generate the sort of profit they do. Keep pushing the road safety bullsh!t while evidence worldwide states low level speeding is are 'very minor ' contributor to motor vehicle accidents. Substance misuse, driver fatigue and poor road conditions contribute way more to accident statistics.

And dumbasses on phones

Yeah in most places the cameras only shoot the front of the vehicle so motorcycles are essentially immune.

I'll assume that's kph and not mph cos' that'd be a straight ban over here. That said the bike's pretty stable at 125mph, just gotta be extra vigilant.;):sneaky:
