Broke my horn cover :(

IOTE="Wrecka, post: 262069, member: 107"]Mitch how do you find that screen ? Does it make a difference at 100 ?[/QUOTE]
Not sure mate I've never ridden that slow lol no just kidding I haven't had her out of the shed yet I'll let u know if I notice the difference

I have seen a couple of them break in exactly the same place was it on the riders left where the mounting tab meets the main part.
Try "RapiFix" available at AutoPro and most auto accessory shops it is a powder and a liquid it ia super strong and wont need any plating or reinforcement, working on the back out of the bracket line up the broken piece and simply put a drop on the two surfaces, hold together .. put some powder on the joint and put another drop apply some more powder till built up a little sets rock hard in seconds

Yep that's exactly where it broke

I have ridden with the fly screen most of the time .i think there mainly there for there looks .they may reflect some air but it ain't much . If your looking for any protection against the elements I reckon the minimum would be the triumph winter screen

I only wanted it for the looks mate  none of those other screens are going near my bike

I agree Mitch it looks good but when your doin some serious mileage in cold weather the protection the winter screen gives is noticeable .Going down south to the rdu last year it was more pleasant and it definately will be on going to Melbourne rdu this year.

You blokes must be pretty heavy handed ..had the horn cover on and of half a dozen times, I should shut-up or you know what'll happen next time I touch the f#ckin thing .. hahaha

Pete , you are wasting your time trying to 'advise' Wrecka on a larger screen .. he don't want to hear it.

You older blokes seem to enjoy your big granny screens, with the exception of Richard. I'll wait till I'm that old to see which camp I'm in.:D
