Bridgestone Exedra Max

Yeah, mine looked great then at around 3500 miles they started squaring off very fast...replaced at 4500 miles not because I had to but because handling was a little twitchy

You cannot mix radials and bias tyres on the same axle. This is not usually a problem on motorcycles. You can have bias on the front and radial on the rear - but not the other way around.

I believe that it is considered pretty taboo by the industry other than for bikes set up that way stock from the factory. That said, I think that prudent and vigilant, experienced veterans, like Ken, can get away with it because they are very performance oriented and they know that proper maintenance and oversight goes along with that particular turf.

The roads overseas are supposedly paved with diamonds, especially in NZ and Oz, or so we've been led to believe, and that (coarser aggregate), more than anything else would account for the shorter tire lifespan, unless, that is, those blokes are actually as crazy as they seem!

IT was a problem scraping the boards when running the DS rear tire on my BST CF wheels when I changed over to the Shinko MC tire it was easy to turn and didnt scrap nearly as bad on the twisty roads and was more responsive feely like it was 200lbs lighter

Oh good, there is hope I will get to replace them in the next few months
WELL you guys I usually get around 10,000 miles out of the METZ and 8 sec dragstrip runs at over 155mph SO I dont know what you guys do to kill them so fast
