Brahma gets a new heart

So here are the other upgrades Brahma got:
1. Heated grips- they feel quite nice on this 41°F ride
2. Progressive springs inside the fork forks. I had them put Blacksail's forks on as they look much nicer than Brahma's old, pitted tubes.
3. New head bearings. Wow, it is so nice to feel a tight steering head again.
4. PCV

To be updated is the radiator and shroud.

That was from running to lean darn it. I liked the chrome better. Unfortunately for the look, I am going to have to wrap the headers to prevent pant distruction.

Where should I source heatshield for the Viking headers? Maybe an exhaust shop? Or do you know of another venue brother?

While amazon and others offer a choice of guards.....I think your creative enough to use cardboard( from cereal boxes) to cut and fold a heatshield out of thinner guage stainless steel from a metal wholesaler or McMaster-Carr. Attach with stainless steel hose clamps..(McMaster-Carr)

After a tank and a half of gas with the new set up, I can say the headers are much cooler now with the PCV running the Ramair and open pipes tunes.

I was in the process of doing this very thing but I stalled out on the project.
