Redwing Iron Rangers For dress and warm weather riding $270.00 hand crafted in USA. Iron ranger is a very comfortable low cut reto boot and my favorite daily shoe/boot.
Redwing only has a hand full of USA made boots all the rest are machine made in China and they are not much cheaper.
If you buy red wings from a red wing dealer you can take your boots in every other month and the will clean and re dress them for you for free. Only the USA made ones I think?

does anyone use steel toes for riding boots?.. what are the pluses and minuses of steel toes..

I occasionally ride around locally with elastic sided steel cap work boots on because I'm to lazy to change boots for a short ride. But I have found the steel toe a bit bulky under the gear lever and hit the toe on the road when cornering.
