I will admit that I once in the driveway thought I had put the stand down on the XV 1100 virago lent the bike over and next thing I'm laying on the grass didn't even have time to put hands out and had both in fists that I landed on and I didn't need to go to the doctor to tell me I had broken a few ribs could tell by the grating of the bones.
Motor bike was the only form of transportation so hour put up with the pain for a few months.
I did almost the exact same thing in 1995 on a Trophy 900, it was ruined id only had it registered on the road a week. 16 weeks later I was back to normal and physio over. Codeine is great but take some poo softener or you'll be ****ting a bowling ball after a week.
Sorry to hear about that and HAPPY to know you are fine.
The bike is great around corners, but gravel road with those tires and weight...not a good comb.
Cheers
I wish you best of healing. Such a painful injury. The R3T isn’t much of a off the pavement runner. Then again, it wasn’t the purpose it . Hang in, and good luck with the cycle.
Collar bone hurts when snapped like a twig, been there, done that, but ribs is pure unrelenting misery. The first sneeze or cough has you considering the advantages of drinking antifreeze. Been there, don't want to go back. Heal quick my friend.
