Black Pipes?

I am looking to go from the stock 3 pipes to one black pipe on each side? Would slip-ons work or would I need all new headers? Any suggestions where to look? thanks.

To do 2 pipe slip ons, you're going to need a 2 pipe crossover pipe as well and quite possibly different heat shields depending on the size and look you're after. Maybe look at Jardine or something like this that gives you whole set up (although I don't see any heat shields). edit: If you want black you could heat wrap the header and powder coat the pipes I guess.

Just on the Foran pipes, anyone got any views or info on how they perform???

Jardine makes a black system for the Rocket. 2 pipes, 1 per side. Really LOUD.

Thanks for the infor, I checked Jardine's site and there is only chrome for an '06. I found a great looking pair on a 2012.

just confirming what hanso said. the mounting points are different at the crossover section. ABS fitted bikes have a box that non abs don't so they have slightly changed mounting points.

as with anything, it can easily be adapted. Ric from REBAND will happily make up a duel can setup if that your preference. we went for a single on mine purely because we were 100% focused on performance and weight saving.
