Ease into first gear smoothly with a little less throttle will calm the judder. Plus shifting at higher RPM's will smooth out the notching.

Impossible I live on a hill .

The clutch will calm down over time, Just something they do. I find when it is cold it is worse until you get a few miles on it and then things smooth out. I have just over 13K on mine and it hardly does it anymore.

Thankyou guys nice to see a proper helpfully friendly forium ..yep Date and time . Only 680miles booked into dealer to see about the clutch judder when setting off . Next . Gears are very knoctchy .I was thinking about a quick shifter ?

Move the bike a little forward while standing, pull the clutch lever, and try to enter the first gear during the move. On my bike i hear absolute no " sound or scratch" it works .
How ever.

As said, they all seem to do this bit of juddering when taking off from stationary. I also found being a bit slower and smoother letting out the clutch seems to stop it. On my Roadster, it had so much torque it didn't matter how you let the clutch out - but having the Torque of the Devil makes you lazy !
