Best way to clean my roadster

I would like any suggestion for when the new rocket comes it is mat black , is there any thing i shouldn't do that you normally do on a gloss colour .

mate, just picked my bike up and was the best and cleanest its ever looked. asked the bloke how he did it. apparently is really easy using this spray on foam. he is sending me a bottle on monday so will let you know. this fella is a bit of a show and shine legend and he will only ever use this stuff on matt finishes.

keep you posted.

The problem is the matt blacks haven't actually been finished; they're still just undercoat. You need to take it back to the dealer, hit him up the back of the head and ask for the proper shiny Claret finish. Then all you need to do is wash it, dry it and admire it.

couldn't have said that better myself

Canberra and Hanso....im confused, why would you go back and ask them to cover it with claret.

Wouldn't that just be more crap to sand back and wash off?

Oh... ha.... ha.... you dill, we are talking about the Superior paint COLOUR Claret

local coin carwash
put in two single dollar coins, first pressure soap and pressure rinse done it for 3 years and to this day no issues..overall 3 minutes work good enough for me.

Thats what i mean!!! id have to use sandpaper to wash it off! lol
No... No... No... you will not have to sand the black off just rough it up a bit so the Claret Red will have a better bind to it

How you clean (painted parts of) your Roadster, depends on whether it is "shiny" or "matte".

Mine is matte.....only water or mild soap & water....and microfiber mitt and cloth.

NO WAX, NO POLISH...just suds & water and microfibre cloth...

when on the road...can get by with just water & microfibre towel...rinse grit off wipe down...wring out..wipe more of needed...let dry.

Matte doesn't show dirt as mu as shiny & it just looks "mean" like a Rocket should....

Fricken pretty red ones are for girls!
