Best way to clean my roadster

I was told CT18 truck wash is very acidic , warned against using it on my bikes by .... someone i thought knew what they were talking about , i listened to anyway.

I have seen it corrode alloy wheels if not thoroughly rinsed of (this happened to me with a car) I won't use it again, I only used it as I was told it was a quick easy time saving method of clean the car, now I take extra time and use a Armorall wash-n-wax automotive wash and allways chamois of afterwards

Thought for a minute you were going to say you use her hair drier.

Leaf blower is one way; I just go for a spirited ride. When I stop feeling splatter's, she's dry.

I wash mine with some car wash stuff and luke warm water. Sometimes chamois off if I can be bothered. Otherwise I dry it as above.

Best method would seem what TC does to wash it (sounds almost relaxing; certainly easier) and what I do to dry it.

Almost forgot about this. Of course the absolute quickest and easiest method is what Skip does.
If he has time he might set out step by step instructions for you.

Goldwash is a brilliant product.. bit expensive but does the buisness with little effort.... Mr Sheen , been using Mr Sheen forever.

Goldwash ??????...never heard of it where do you get it... is it a car product

try ''original bike spirits' its an a spray and wipe cleaner that leaves no residue. great for faceshields and windshields too.its the only thing i use on my seat as it leaves nothing behind.I hear exessive bucket washing can actually promote rust and corrosion,in areas that are hard to dry.

Haven't heard that before. I use it on my truck and my Patrol and on my Softail for 20 years never had a problem that I was aware of.

Young fella at local Yamaha dealership told me about it .. they sell it there. Don't think it's a car product ... not really sure though.
