Bel-Ray Gear Saver Synthetic Hypoid Gear Oil. Full synthetic 80-90... and it's a pretty red color.

I change it once or twice a season just for the fun if it. Goes in red and always comes out black.

Royal Purple. Run the stuff in the Harley transmission and run it in the Rocket final drive.Amazing stuff.

We have a Harley 103 Ultra Classic in our collection of bikes and we Run Penrite Pro Gear 80/140 full synthetic in the 6 speed transmission ( the higher grade synthetic gear oils are not like the old mineral gear oils) and pour just like engine oil

Lots of Harley's running around here with simular Mileage running heavier Synthetic gear oil in the transmission so each to his own ,plenty of opinions either way on Harley sites,

I take it that Harley's have separate tranny and engine oil compartments. (Never seen one with a shaft drive, either). I will never have anything with a chain drive again, a belt, maybe.

BTW, I don't know crap about Harley's.
