I haven't tried those other two but I'm happy with the Deka ETX16L . It is wider, taller and heavier than the original, I done a slight mod to get it to fit and no tool kit but after a couple of standard and a supposed heavy duty batteries failing me on cold mornings, this one has never missed a beat. This winter I never put it onto charge or had to do any maintenance. It starts, I'm happy:)

Motobatt does it for me

I had problems, until I installed a Motobatt 'Absorbed Glass Mat Technology' from wemoto.com - as it says ...

MotoBatt is an AGM battery, a type of Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery. Get all the benefits of a gel battery at a sensible price. Each Quadflex Battery has 4 terminal (2+ and 2-) and when necessary includes spacers, enabling the battery to function in multiple applications (I didn't need them!). No electrolyte or harsh acids to deal with, Motobatt Batteries are sealed and require no maintenance. Charged and ready to install directly out of the box.

It has a terminal at each corner - how good is that, such a simple idea means it fits bikes with cables in any configuration.

I am going on a limb here but most AGM batteries are constructed on the same basic architecture according to those guys who recondition batteries before sending them to china so basically the outside is just cosmetic sometime physical sizes are slightly different but the output is always within a range specified for the model so if you change the name you still get the same output generally .

do not hit me over the head!!! it is true.

batteries

Albertaduke - no problem mate. There are probably many people who know more about the technical specifications of batteries than I do, but I'm just saying that this one worked for me, and most importantly got me back on the road again.

lithium is the new buzzword and yes the output is much greater than anything else including AGM but will they last ??keep us posted if you notice any loss of CCA.

regardless in the end whatever works is all one can hope for and once the motor is running we lose interest in the battery as soon as we shift in first gear

all that matter is get ting running again...happy for you ...and my head says thanks !

I use a 320 CCA Scorpion Battery along with a 600 CCA lthium Ferous battery. 11.8:1 compression big cams stiffer valve springs and a Supercharger and the beast turns over like a mad man even at 7 degrees F.
