Bad Experience. Would like advice on 2 bikes

I guess it varies by region of sales. I'm pretty sure demo bikes have to be registered to the dealership with insurance requirements and the warranty clock starts at that time. At least in my experience, then they'll try to sell you an extended warranty to keep it going. They were throwing crazy deals on demo bikes, but you know how those are ridden. Brand new bikes will still have the UK registration unaltered by title transfer.

I'd either look at a low mileage owner for sale or a brand new (no demo) bike. There are some new '21 '22 ... ones that weren't demos, you can tell if it has more miles than just a standard checkout ride. The price is certainly negotiable since the Storms have came out. It just depends on what you want. I'd personally never buy a demo bike, whatever the warranty.

Well I'm likely going for the 2024. No warranty on the 2022.

I have attached the proposal. Thoughts? I know I have to eat the freight and prep and the doc fee is not too bad but maybe I can squeeze them a bit. Certainly the 1500 cash from corporate is a help. I saw a couple of private sales but who knows what those have been through

Thanks all.

IMO never go to a dealership for any reason unless you need the new 0 miles thing
the cost of the markup and service is so bad and high that its actually cheaper to just bring it to a proper shop or DIY things. HD has an amazing "dealership network" but other than that, its so useless and a waste of time for the owner. Any manufacture warranty can be still active without going though a dealership.
Just fine one local to you and by it in cash. Financing a toy is a bad idea anyways
Put the 3 grand away and pay for whatever comes up. forget the dealerships.

Wow! Things have changed a lot since I bought my brand new Triumph Rocket Roadster.
$13K out the door in 2012.
$6K+ is a pretty substantual increase, IMHO. WHAT SAYEST THOU?
Yup, bought my 2013 for $16K TOTAL out the door, tax, tag, everything, and I thought that was a pretty good deal.
