Well I had found a good deal on a 2022R with 7K on the clock. It was 14K. This was at a RideNow dealership. Made 2 trips and the 14k became 17.5k. Oddly they have corporate policy of no test ride on sport bikes. You need to sign the paperwork to purchase and AFTER purchase they have you follow an employee on a mapped out 10 mile course. If you do not like the bike they say they will sell you something else. Very bad experience.
Anyway here are my 2 choices which are reasonably close to my home.
1. 2022 Rocket 3 R with 239 miles on clock. Korosi red. Sales manager claims it has yet to be titled and master cylinder recall has been addressed Price $17,500 before tax, title etc.
And yes they allow you to take the bike for a test ride only if you have proper riding gear. That is reasonable.
2. 2024 Rocket3R with essentially no miles. Matte silver ice.Reduced to 19K !!!
Hard to believe but I will call them. Is it worth the extra $ 1500 to get a 2024 vs a 2022? No change in Rocket between those 2 years. $1500 is $1500 !!
Cannot fathom why a bike which is a 2024 with no miles would be reduced by about $5K. Any thoughts
Opinions wanted.
I did see many GT but I am not a forward controls fan.
