Backing up a 2013 R3T

I don't have the 2012 Roadster anymore.....it was destroyed when I hit a deer head-on this past November 11th....I have spent the last three and a half months on disability recovering from a broken arm (surgery) and a split open forehead (stitches). Hence the new 2013 R3T.....Your bull**** response is exactly what I would expect from a Harley Davidson owner.

Bushwhaker, im sure he said it in good fun, sorry to hear about your accident, glad you are still with us.
You will have no problems vacking up your new bike.

I'm 5'6 and am on my toes with both feet down. Someone mentioned using the slope of the parking spot to your advantage - nose in on uphills and back in on down hills. That's all you need to know. Works for me.

I am able to slide my butt of to one side and do a one-foot push backward, if necessary, but it's pretty funny looking!

Backing R3T

I'm 60 and 6' and agree with the backrest comments; I also believe the long haul seat helped with backing the monster. The Touring is almost 170 Lbs. heavier than a standard Rocket. I installed the Excedra Max V-rated tires and they maneuver better than the Metzelers 42 P.S.I. rear, 39 P.S.I. front.

Get some Hagon Nitros and lower rhe bike, front prings too. I have an R3T and lowered it that way. My feet are flat on the pavment. I am only 5-7. Worked great for me.
