Hey, thanks for your reply......Iam 5' 11 and 61 years old....I never tell anybody that Iam old. How old is older than dirt?

4 years older than you my young friend.

Recently broke a couple of ribs riding a KLR on a trail that was beyond my capabilities. Things don't heal like they used to.

Pushing the Rocket

Hey Bushwacker. Just remember one very important thing.
Whenever you go to park the bike, look at the parking space.
If it's at all sloped downward, YOU MUST BACK THE BIKE IN. Because
you won't be able to back it uphill when you're leaving.

SILLY BUSHWACKER ROCKETS ARE FOR RIDING....NOT PUSHING!:D

Yeh,,,uphill is really tough...

I'll just add one thing that no-one has mentioned yet. I'm 6'2'' and yes, at times it can be a hassle backing up. A bud of mine is shorter....I think about 5'10", and he swapped the rear shocks out for the progressive 1" drop in the rear. He says it's much better now because he can get better leverage and the ride is the same if not better.

I'm 5ft 6" an weigh 110lbs.It's easy if yer carful. Al

backin up the beast

I came off a vtx 1800 the only noticable difference I found was the seat width... My Rocket seat is a little wider, but as far as fearing the beast, don't ! like anything else its balance and momentum the r3t to me is, and I will capitalize this,:D is UNBELEIVABLY a very well balanced bike,(I cant say the same for myself).

I don't have the 2012 Roadster anymore.....it was destroyed when I hit a deer head-on this past November 11th....I have spent the last three and a half months on disability recovering from a broken arm (surgery) and a split open forehead (stitches). Hence the new 2013 R3T.....Your bull**** response is exactly what I would expect from a Harley Davidson owner.
Lighten up Francis...(favorite Quote from Stripes.) My responce is called comedy. Poor taste, Perhaps, but generally that's my flavor. I am not politically correct nor am I in touch with my feeling. Yes, I only have one. By the way that was comedy too... Anyway sorry to hear you wrecked your bike, and dinged yourself up; sucks. Hope your back on the road soon.
