As for me, I am impatiently awaiting the return of the Avon Cobra Chrome for my Rocket 3R. I have Cruisetec Metzeler on my Challenger and, frankly, while they are OK in the dry, it's a real disaster as soon as it rains... which is surprising because Metzeler was rather renowned for holding up well in the rain ! I admit that I drive (very) brutally but the Avon, which I didn't know before the Rocket, are perfect for me.

Is that aggressive riding or just standard for these types of tires? I’m just curious as my other bike is more of a traditional cruiser and I usually get around 15K or so on its Michelin Commander II’s and III’s.

Frick 'em all- tired (oh, unintentional pun there ) of waiting on availability and the ridiculous cost for either the Avons or Cruisetecs.

I'm back to Exedra Max on the rear and, for now, the...

Bridgestone G701 Exedra Touring Front Motorcycle Tire 150/80R-17 (72H) on the front and just promise to keep it well below 130 mph on that tire.

I'm just not going to be forced to have to wait to ride until whatever flavor of the week Triumph comes up with to recommend for tires. There are other very good options out there

Avon is not available. I ordered and today received Metzeler.
BTW, I will go to standard tire-service. Do you know the torque for tightening the wheels? I expect that they will not.

Lug nut torque for real wheel is 100nm to 110nm.
