I think they are on display in the main street from 8:30 until 10 on Sunday , something to do with the local Chamber of Commerce maybe then they will go on a ride somewhere around the district then back to Evans for a farewell BBQ .lunch . Holty sent me this link to a story in The Northern Star about the weekend. Col Mcandrew said there are 48 triples turning up that he knows of.

Julie and my weekend at The Leyburn Sprints got stuffed up. Had it planned for months both had the day off today booked in, fridge loaded caravan packed, fire wood cut ready to go and the fuel pump in my Patrol chucked it in earlier in the week. Quoted $4620 to fix it and won't be going till next week. Time for a new 4X4 I think. Might get a Ford Ranger, I still like the Nissan Patrol but there still mechanically the same as the 15 year old one I have now, they havnt moved with the competition.

$4,650 for a new fuel pump .. f#ck me. We've been sussing out a new 4X4 for when our novated lease runs out on the D22 .. not heard good things about the Fords hey. Blokes I've spoken to reckon the Mazda is way better vehicle. Fords really tough with warranty claims they reckon .. Mazda can't do enough to help customers .. so I've heard anyway.
