Mate of mine thats pushing a truck just down over the border reckons he saw 5 Rockets all packed for travel ( a sight that never fails to make me envious) cranking along heading north on Thursday.... Doing what Rockets were meant to do... rocket !!!!!!

Maybe they are headed up to Leyburn for the bikes through a bar challange
i know of a couple of rockets and a few other trumpys going .

and yeah anyway people are we gonna do this thing or what lets pick a date for next year some time with a bit of notice and get this thing together doesnt have to be fancy us our bikes some tents and a good supply of piss and tales to tell

I have to let the You guys know right now that
a/ I won't be going to the States as Ann will almost defiantly need a back Op and will be put on a waiting list with no definant date just have to be prepared to go in on short notice could be 3mth's or 1 year
b/ that would also mean that any plans I make to go to the "Aussie Rocket Ride" may have to be canned if Ann has to go in for an Op at the time of the get together

went to the Bikes through a bar at Leyburn....such a shame it was wet and miserable. The weather made a lot of people stay away. we left at 2pm and there had only been 120 bikes through the bar.
