For me.. yes i could see the com and usb devices but for some reason i could not change between them on the tuneecu interface.... but i could with windows 7 and could click them to change them from com to usb..That's what made me think it was something to do with the cable driver...I might one day have another try.

I meant in the windows device manager (has nothing to do with tuneecu). The driver needs to be installed twice, once for the com port and the other for the usb controller. windows may do it automatically the first time you plug the cable in. you need to make sure the cable shows up under com ports and usb devices. Check the driver properties to make sure it's the correct driver. If it isn't, then manually update them using the driver you downloaded from the link on the tuneecu site.

Sorry, but I can not reproduce these problems.

I have tested TuneECU on WIN8 & 8.1 with 32 and 64bit systems on different computers.

All tested systems have been working without any problems with TuneECU.

The same is true for Win7 32 / 64bit systems.

I think there are picture galleries on this site but I don't know how to deal with them. Here are some pics. I now have a Longhaul seat with backrest on the bike. You can't see it but the yellow has flames painted on it in very light gold.

I don't know how either or I would have searched.
The old system where you simply went to someone's profile and chose gallery seemed much easier.
Thanks for posting. I wished to see how the entire bike looked in yellow and I LIKE!!!
If you did the stripes down the fenders and tank in black, it would look the reverse of mine.

The fellow who owned the bike last did some really nice work on it (thank you Steve): Jardines, chromed side covers, paint job, gas gauge, engine bars, luggage rack and sissy bar, cruise control, helmet lock, and only 6000 miles on a 2007. He also had a gel touring seat on it.

That's interesting perhaps Windows 8 is a no go then or were we both missing something,wonder if anyone has managed to use Tuneecu with Windows 8...Glad i didn't give up and tried my Windows 7..

It works on mine with windows 8
