So for me I have a MacBook Pro running Mac OS and Windows 8:1 using a coherence program called Parallel to have the best of both worlds running at the same time. Now if I can use TuneECU with all that going on then surely it can be done with a simpler set up.

In that case, the problem is either the cable or not installing the right drivers correctly.
