Get rid of the stupid wire bracket that straddling the middle throttle body port and it won't be in your way anymore its as useful as a c.u.n.t. full of cold water. Like that stupid plate mounted on top of the number 1 coil. Get rid of it also them wires will lay in there just like they did without it. Only you'll be able to get at your coil leads easier.

Done and done. I was thinking of doing both of those mods, but felt like my questions per day quota was full. Haha... Sidenote, she's free! The gasket totally relaxed once the lid lifted... That twist in it went away entirely. I'll still use the new one obv, but it sure looks like they overdid it at the factory. I have some sweat all the way around behind the oil tank too... I think it's just transient oil from the general sweat. Fingers crossed!

Sidenote, I'll pick everyone's brain one more time here. I've got nearly all the remnants of the old RTV sealant off, and ran some lacquer thinner across all the mating surfaces to get them clean as hell. I am really surprised how.....not....smooth it is. You can see the texture a little in the last photo I posted there. Any suggestions on what product to use to really get that nice and smooth? Scotchbrite pad? There's definitely some sealant remnants down in the half moon divots still... I'm nervous as she's aluminum I believe, so I really don't think that razor blade scraper that's staring at me from my tool chest is a good idea...
