Yes I understand. But on the bright side, the blurred white post shows the car is moving so it can be considered an "action shot".
That's the idea with panning, have the car crisp clear with the wheels and the background blurred not easy to do, shutter speed as slow as possible the BMW was taken at 1/40 of a second. It's easier to bump it up to 1/1000 or more and have everything clear but you don't get the look of movement, may as well take a photo of a parked car. The 2 below were what I was after. The wheels on the Golf.
