Anyone using Progressive 444 shocks

Over my experience riding many twisties is Progressive 444 first - Hagon Nitros second.
Do not know about Wilbers and I understand they are also very good, but spendy.
There was another brand recommended by @warp9.9 that I can't remember.

I am presently running the YSS brand with adjustable high speed rebound dampening and 10 mm length adjustment. They go well with my modified forks. I have run the progressive 440's and the Hagons I would rate the progressives the lowest of the three.

Thanks for the responses. I am just a little surprised that folks don't use Ohlins. I road some Ducatis with them installed and they made all the difference. They are also good off'road. Just not so great for the R3T and touring?

The 444 is a massive improvement over the 440 from what ive heard the 440 wasnt actually very good and that is also why they are now a deleted product

Still I would rather be able to control the high speed dampening. Adding it to my front forks also made a massive improvement.
 
I just ordered the 444's in the 13 inch length and the black finish. In full tour mode the bike is running about 600 lbs. I am running a 205/60r16 car tire, speed rated at 140+
The stock shocks have been ok but I get some bounce in the high speed corners (70mph+) while riding 2up. When I ride with the sportbike guys during the week the bounce is about the same but at
higher speeds. I am interested in a header that will allow me to keep both tail pipes, baggers need 2 pipes to look right.
 

You have chosen well, IMHO. I love my 444s and the Progressive springs in my forks!
Don't forget to properly set your sag. If you ride double and packed up, set the sag for yourself and then for double up.
Remember the rotation amount to the preload knob so you can quickly and easily adjust from one to another.
Any header can be made to work with dual cans . . . but why?
 
Not a Progressive Suspension fan. My first concern came when I put the Progressive shock next to the R3T Shock and it was 1/3 thinner. Me, the wife, and luggage close too 600lbs. Road worse than stock.

Yours is a tractor used for towing travel trailers!
444s are not made for that strange application.
